Aim of the Workshops

The overall aim of the workshops is to highlight topics not only explicitly covered in the main conference sessions but still related to the conference theme, and to complement the tracks by providing more interactive approaches to engage the participants. At the same time, workshops aim to provide an interesting discussion of novel ideas, insightful practical and theoretical discussions, and networking with international experts, researchers, and practitioners, among others. As such, the organizer(s) of the workshop must include activities that foster the participation of the attendees; the session is not meant to be sit-and-listen, but rather interactive.
