Steering systems in modern vehicles consist of a large number of components that have to fit together perfectly – and have to do so for a long time. Because only then can the driver steer precisely, reliably, and safely.
thyssenkrupp Steering is one of the largest manufacturers in the world of steering systems, and the global market leader in steering columns. The cold forging business, with its unique manufacturing using weight and cost-saving “net shape” methods, is the technology leader in the field of cold forging. All of our products achieve a technological advantage thanks to their lightweight engineering. With our highly automated production and internal manufacturing technology, we achieve cost advantages even in high-wage countries.
